- With the signatures that have survived all these years, people have found that he signed his name as "Wm Shakspe", "William Shakspere", "Willm Shakspere", "Willm Shaksp", "William Shakespe", and other variations. He never signed it as his real name of "William Shakespeare."(That we know of)
- There was little scenery and not curtains during Shakespeare's time. Instead, the people who wrote the plays described the setting in the script for the performances.
- During the play, the audience could buy snacks such as apples and pears to eat. If some of the audience was unhappy with the performance, sometimes they would throw their food at the actors.
- One of Shakespeare's plays was being acted out in the Globe Theater, when the theater caught on fire and burned to ashes. This was cause by cannon firing from the play, Henry Vlll, on June 29, 1613.
- Shakespeare frequently wrote sonnets with harsh, rigorous descriptions even though most sonnets are filled with love and joy.
- Between the years of 1585 and 1592, there is no information about Shakespeare during this time period. Therefore, it is unknown to us on how his career first started, because this was the time period when he first moved to London and started his career of writing.
